A Proven Track Record of Results

After pursuing justice for the injured for nearly four decades, PARRIS attorneys have won $1.9 billion on our clients’ behalf. Our legal team regularly secures seven-, eight-, and nine-figure verdicts and settlements for victims of other people’s negligence.

Many of these client stories have come from the Antelope Valley and the surrounding desert areas.

  • One PARRIS client was driving his truck in Lancaster when a distracted driver, on the phone with her boyfriend, ran a stop sign. The resulting crash was so severe that our client’s truck rolled three times before skidding to a stop on its side. Our client suffered life-altering injuries in the crash, yet the at-fault driver’s insurance company refused to cooperate with our investigation and help him recover. PARRIS attorneys fearlessly fought for the victim, eventually winning a $120 million verdict for the man and his family.
  • PARRIS also represented two brothers involved in a serious truck accident. Our clients were on their way to Mammoth for their annual fishing trip when a big rig crossed over into their lane, hitting them head-on. The trucking company neglected to pull the truck driver, who had both a history of accidents and a criminal record prior to this incident, off of the road, resulting in devastating injuries to our clients. In the end, the trucking company paid our clients $56.6 million.
  • On a busy night in Palmdale during the holiday shopping season, a distracted driver T-boned our client’s car. The accident rendered him a quadriplegic who will require daily care for the rest of his life. After fighting for our client in trial at the LA County Superior Court, a jury awarded our client $41.6 million for his injuries, suffering, and ongoing care.
  • Another client, an 11-year-old girl, was walking home from a friend’s house in the Antelope Valley when she was struck by a car. This traumatic and preventable accident left our client with many broken bones, a punctured lung, and a traumatic brain injury. After relentlessly fighting for our client and her family, PARRIS attorneys secured a $14.8 million settlement to help restore her life.

The Lancaster car accident attorneys at PARRIS Law Firm are here to answer all of your questions in a free case consultation. Below, we’ve outlined some of the most common questions our clients have for us when they are seeking representation after a car accident.

What kind of accident cases do PARRIS lawyers take?

When you’re involved in a car accident that wasn’t your fault, you may be able to collect compensation from the at-fault driver (or their insurance company) on the basis of negligence. In simpler terms, drivers are negligent when they fail to uphold their duty to drive safely and responsibly, causing accidents that harm innocent victims like you.

Car accidents are painful, traumatic experiences that no one should have to endure. Our attorneys are committed to helping victims of all types of accidents, including:

  • Car accidents
  • Drunk driving accidents
  • Big rig truck collisions
  • Motorcycle accidents
  • Pedestrian accidents
  • Bicycle accidents
  • Car accidents involving people on the job
  • Accidents involving dangerous road conditions
  • Crashes caused by car defects

What can I recover?

Car accidents can destroy lives—there’s no doubt about it. That’s why our attorneys are in the business of restoring lives.

Under California law, your personal injury settlement or verdict should cover the cost of your:

  • Medical bills, including hospital visits, prescriptions, and specialists;
  • Property damage;
  • Lost wages, including future lost wages and loss of earning capacity;
  • Pain and suffering from your injuries or life circumstances after your accident; and
  • Loss of companionship for your loved ones (legally referred to as “loss of consortium”), among other forms of recovery.

Do I really need a Lancaster car accident lawyer?

If you are not at fault for your car accident, you might be tempted to accept a settlement from the at-fault driver’s insurance company.

Maybe you feel like going to court with an attorney is too much hassle. Maybe the settlement offer seems reasonable to you.

However, these initial settlement offers may be insufficient coverage for the true cost of your medical bills, lost wages, and the inability to do many things that made life so enjoyable before the accident.

You see, insurance companies do not have your best interests at mind. They have the interests of their company in mind. The goal of any insurance adjuster is to settle the case for the least amount of money possible to benefit their bottom line. Because of this, some insurance adjusters act in bad faith by delaying your settlement offer, offering you a lowball settlement, or denying your valid claim altogether.

This is precisely why you need an attorney that isn’t afraid to fight for you; someone who will represent your interests alone.

At PARRIS Law Firm, our Lancaster car accident lawyers know how to take on an insurance company and get you the settlement or verdict you deserve. We are not afraid to litigate as much as we need to in order to ensure you are treated fairly.

Our attorneys have the experience to fight and win the battle for your rights.
