Car Accident Wrongful Death Verdict
PARRIS attorneys obtained a $10.6 million wrongful death verdict for the family of two brothers who lost their lives in a head-on car collision.
The brothers, both musicians and bandmates, were driving home in Palmdale after their performance in Los Angeles. As the brothers traveled north on the 405 freeway, a drunk driver crashed head-on into their minivan.
The drunk driver had been traveling south in the northbound carpool lane for more than four miles before crashing into the victims. He later pled no contest to two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
After taking the case to trial, the PARRIS team secured a $10.6 million verdict for the decedents’ family. With the legal fight behind them, the family can now focus on healing and celebrating the lives of their sons.
