We are seeking an innovative and organized problem solver to join our team! The IT Help Desk position is a hands-on role that provides support to our firm by installing, configuring, and maintaining our computer systems. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with strong decision-making abilities and superb communication skills.

Primary Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise on calls and tickets generated by staff.
  • Resolve basic software and hardware issues.
  • Have an understanding of troubleshooting the client operating systems.
  • Remotely or physically access user’s computers to make changes to their system and settings perform system tests or updates.
  • Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as assigned by CTO.

    Applicant Requirements

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high energy environment
    • Must be reliable and punctual
    • Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
    • Excellent communication skills and possess the ability to manage assignments independently. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and the desire to help in the mentoring of their fellow co-worker.
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
    • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred
    • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of all Windows and Microsoft Office operating systems in addition to:
      • Windows domains
      • Windows networking (mapped network drives, shared folders, printers, etc.)
      • Active Directory
      • User profile creation and modification
      • Group Policy Objects
      • LAN/WAN connectivity
      • Firewall Configuration (VPN, port forwarding, etc.)
      • Onsite Exchange and hosted Exchange environments (Office 365)
      • Hardware diagnostics (servers/workstations/laptops)
      • MacOS
      • Android/iOS
      • Third party applications with the assistance of the vendors support staff
