We are seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our team. The Human Resource Administrator is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides support to our staff and firm. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing exceptional staff support, and driving HR process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a decision-maker with exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and writing skills.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Organizing all HR department records, employment files and maintaining the operation of office equipment
  • Maintaining several HR spreadsheets related to LOA, absences, applicant data, etc…
  • Maintaining, implementing, and updating onboarding procedures
  • Assisting and overseeing recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes
  • Managing and creating applicant testing as necessary
  • Conducting new hire orientation
  • Creating review and new hire folders
  • Preparing and coordinating new hire arrivals by ensuring desk space is set-up, IT department is coordinated, and necessary office supplies is ready
  • Responding to applicants about employment inquiries
  • Set-up employees within HRIS system and assist with benefit understanding as necessary
  • Inputting employees information into case management software and HRIS
  • Inputting employee information into TimeClock software and make adjustments as requested
  • Submitting final pay requests and ensuring the final paycheck is prepared for employees upon termination
  • Maintaining and updating the management team’s calendar with pertinent information
  • Researching and distributing new laws affecting the firm
  • Updating plans and procedures (i.e. termination procedure, new hire procedure, organizational chart, etc.)
  • Planning and overseeing mandated harassment training
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • General office and customer service experience
  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
